MSP visit to Kippendavie and Cauldhame Estates

It was lovely to welcome Mairi Gougeon MSP (Minister for Rural Affairs and the Natural Environment) to the Estate today.
Mairi was being shown recent planting in the local area at Jerah, by Tilhill Forestry and popped in to see the new paths, the Sheriffmuir Battlefield and the new Woodland Creation Scheme on Kippendavie Estate.
Forestry management in such a historical area was discussed and we also got to to see some recent archeological finds here on the Estate.
